Re: On small spruce cone
Hi,
I think this is just mycel (from an unknown species, no determination possible)
Coralloid fruitbodies like Pterula multifida or similar look different.
Here ozonium of Coprinus spec. (it is yellowish) - but the tips look similar.

see this: https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Tila ... 2&tbm=isch
Not far away also Pterula multifida for my eyes, but substrate is more like upper link, I think.

Re: On small spruce cone
Good idea!
In some pictures the main part looks less forked, but you can find pictures like that and with that "hairy" appearance.
In 123 if you look for Pterula m. they did not mention that species as similar.
If you look for Tilachidium, they mention Pterula m. and mycel as similar
It should grow mostly on decayed mushroom fruitbodies (??? here not ... or other material from plants, o.k.)
The species is not in my "big book", but if you google the name, there are a few posts at various places (most times showing less divided white stuff) - and often the ideas are ranging from Pterula to mycel.
Ok ... now we know something new. (And it is an anamorph.)
