Re: stumpf meaning ?
The opposite of "stumpf" is "spitz". Like in trigonometry:
stumpf = angle > 90° (english: obtuse)
spitz = angle < 90° (english: acute)
I find it sometimes difficult to figure out, what authors mean. In some cases, you have a leaf tip with a narrow angle, but the actual tip is rounded. This is still called "stumpf" or "obtuse" by some authors. In the linked image, it's especially hard to see. Because of the camera position the angle looks acute, but the text says obtuse.

Re: stumpf meaning ?
Looks +/-90, by square drawn, speculating a bit < 90, but I would say with naked eye anything of obtuse,acute would be speculation.
