The orange stuff is likely Stereum hirsutum, in normal position, see how the white one is inverted

same thing, bigger, inverted !

Host, likely Quercus
Inverted ? All specimens, without exception.

Re: Inverted ? All specimens, without exception.
Hi,
maybe one fungus was growing first, originally orientated with hymenium/pores down, than the branch was moved and now this is looking inverted. And the other mushrooms were growing later (?)
We do not see the underside of this orange thing ... and we do not see the upper side of the thing with pores (maybe trametes?)
The second fungus, I can't tell if these are pores or a wrinkled hymenium, maybe plicatura crispa?

No for sure. To big 12 cm across 2 caps.maybe plicatura crispa
Original:http://shrani.si/f/46/mR/22sSrVTS/tmp.jpg (hmm it seems a bit shrinked without my intervention)
also see this: http://agrozoo.net/jsp/Galery_one_image ... b74b875597
2 resupinate forms on top of branch. The bigger round, as sturdy and hard as Gloeophyllum odoratum. Note something becoming/growing on - green.
I checked many times, the branch (on ground) was under other branches and there was no way it would be turned around.
http://agrozoo.net/gallery/Trametes-gibbosa
seem likely to be it due to green stuff on some "upper" parts
Re: Inverted ? All specimens, without exception.
If the polypore is hard and the flesh white and the pores elongated it should be Trametes gibbosa, I agree.
I often saw some kind of malformation, hymenium on top (but only on parts of the fungus), but on very young roundish fruitbodies as well pores everywhere.
Second ... I overlooked the size ...
,
maybe Lenzites? ...betulina or warnieri (the latter should have forked gills) ?

Ok moved whole thing
http://agrozoo.net/gallery/Lenzites-betulina
Local description says hymeniu- holes that extends in a way that looks like gilled labyrinth. It does mention Quercus besides Betulina as host. And also mentions green algae as possibility , same as at T. Gibossa.
http://champignons.aveyron.free.fr/?pag ... champi=587
last image shows forks but only here and there.
BTW: see another example, not mine, of inverted
