Re: Ramaria testaceoflava ?
Hi,
most probably you (and me and most other people) cannot identify ramaria species just by photographs. There is a ramaria monography by Josef Christan, with all those microscopic features ...
If I look for Ramaria zippelii, the pictures are from Australia or New Zealand. It is not in my new book (Fungi of Temperate Europe).
Ramaria testaceoflava is included in my book, but looks more yellowish to cinnamon-brown/ orange-brown. Mycorrhiza with Picea on richer soil.
Good macroscopic features: flesh stains greyish-violet if bruised, bitter taste.
In this book Ramaria rubella looks most similar (occuring on well decayed conifer wood in damp woodlands), clay-pink colour, multi-branched, the tips look paler.

Re: Ramaria testaceoflava ?
I think good suggestion.
http://agrozoo.net/gallery/Ramaria-rubella <-- added latest find (first image), Long dead Castanea stump.
I can even find 'copy'of my images: https://www.nahuby.sk/obrazok_detail.ph ... _id=683256
Tips are white, no exceptions.
Thanks.
Also note that local guy at some time in past named this:

Re: Ramaria testaceoflava ?
Hi,
in the past nearly (?) every Ramaria growing on dead wood (with branches growing strictly upright) has been named Ramaria stricta. Nowadays they think this is a group of different species.
I was just comparing pictures, which are matching quite well. But if one of your "rosé" Ramaria is growing on chestnut wood, this is strange.
They say, Ramaria rubella is growing on conifer wood.
But maybe this is possible too ... but I don't know.
